Joseph W. Chupein, Jr., Esquire
Joseph W. Chupein, Jr. joined the firm in 1986. He served for many years as an Officer of the Delaware County Bar Association and served as its President in 2009.
Mr. Chupein is proud to serve on the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Commission. He also serves the Delaware County Bar Association and the Delaware County Court as Co-Chair of the Committee on Indigent Defense.
Mr. Chupein has served as the Solicitor to the Delaware County Fraternal Order of Police (Lodge 27) and the Lower Merion FOP (Lodge 28) for more than 25 years, as well as legal counsel to numerous other police bargaining associations in Chester and Montgomery Counties, proudly serving the interests of present and retired members.
He is a founding member of the committee that formed the Delaware County Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation, honoring the memory of fallen heroes and supporting their survivors, and continues to serve as its pro bono legal counsel. He also provides local counsel for the Pennsylvania State Fraternal Order of Police.
Mr. Chupein also serves as local counsel for the Pennsylvania State Education Association.
A graduate of Msgr. Bonner High School, Mr. Chupein received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1979 from Temple University and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University Law School in 1982.
