Katherine A. Finnigan, Esquire
Katherine (“Katie”) Finnigan is an associate with the firm whose practice focuses on all areas of family law. She is a member of the Delaware County Bar Association.
Ms. Finnigan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts in 2008. She attended the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she graduated in 2014. During law school, Ms. Burke worked as a certified legal intern at the City of Philadelphia Law Department and as a research assistant for Temple Law Professor Laura E. Little. She interned for the Honorable Glynnis J. Hill in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Major Crimes Division and participated as a certified legal intern in the Temple Legal Aid Office, assisting clients with civil health care issues primarily related to obtaining Social Security benefits. Ms. Burke was honored as a Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society Fellow.
While in law school, Ms. Finnigan served as the Managing Editor/Senior Note & Comment Editor of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. She was selected to present her note, Informed Consent? A Critique of the Eighth Circuit’s Decision in Planned Parenthood v. Rounds, 24 Temp. Pol. & Civ. Rts. L. Rev. 491 (2014), in the Temple Law Review Student Symposium in Spring of 2014. Ms. Burke also participated in Temple’s Integrated Trial Advocacy Program, for which she received the distinction of Outstanding Oral Advocacy in Trial Advocacy II.
